History Town Basic Concept

Purpose

Residents, experts, and the government will discuss the basic ideas and directions for promoting the development of towns where residents can have an attachment to the history of the town and the area while utilizing the historical assets remaining in Hodogaya Ward. The purpose was to examine and organize it in the "History Town Basic Design Exploratory Committee and Working", and to devise a basic design for town development utilizing the history.

Details of examination and investigation

About old Tokaido area and the whole area in ward, we examined and investigated the following matters.
(1) Direction of Town Development Utilizing History
(2) Investigate and use of assets to be preserved and scattered historical assets
(3) Selection, policy and maintenance method of priority maintenance district
(4) Rules for landscape formation by utilizing the Landscape Act
(5) Creating an organization based on inhabitants of a ward that promotes basic concept
(6) Other necessary matters

Progress of examination

The Exploratory Committee examined the general remarks such as directions, and the specific contents were examined in the working of the "Old Tokaido Regional Design Study Group" and the "Whole Area Status Survey Team in the Ward".
