2020 ICT Utilization Support Project
The Hodogaya Ward Office will support the use of ICT in local activities in cooperation with NPO Personal Computer Yokohama-juku. We aim to establish it in the community by providing detailed support close to the community. ※Please see here for details of the FY2021 business.

Web conference support at residents' facilities
You can have a web conference (zoom) at Magagaya Citizens' Activities Center Hours!
We have set up an environment where a web conference (Zoom) can be held at Magagaya Citizens' Activities Center Wars. Even if you do not have a PC or tablet at home, you can participate in the web conference from the Magaya Citizens' Activities Center. There is also an operation manual, so even first-time users can use it with confidence.

Details of use
・It is available only when involved in social activities.
・Use is limited to 2 hours.
・It can be used as a guest (participant) side of Zoom meeting. It cannot be used on the host (organizer side).
・Please prepare the meeting ID and passcode for your meeting in advance.
※We will also proceed with deployment in other ward facilities.

We will dispatch advisors to each group's activity locations to support the use of ICT in local activities, such as web conference experiences, implementation methods, and various settings, so that activities and exchanges based on new lifestyles can be performed.

How to apply

The purpose is to explain and understand the know-how for conducting web conferences, such as how to use Zoom, which is often used in web conferences, and basic functions, with practice.

NPO Personal Computer Yokohama-juku
"NPO PC Yokohama-juku" is an organization established by graduates of the "IT Training Volunteer Training Course" sponsored by the city. We hold free PC consultations at five venues in the city. You can consult about web conferences, how to operate Word / Excel, how to use e-mail, and how to operate tablets and smartphones.
