We extend report deadline of personal municipal tax, prefectural tax in 2021 until Thursday, April 15th.
Following the extension of the tax return deadline for income tax for 2020 until Thursday, April 15, 2021, the deadline for filing personal municipal tax and prefectural tax in 2021 will also be Thursday, April 15, 2021. Will be extended until Thursday. Please see the NTA website for an extension of the deadline for filing an income tax return.

Please be careful if you file a tax return after Tuesday, March 16th
If you submit a personal municipal tax / prefectural tax return or income tax return after Tuesday, March 16, you may not be in time for the taxation process of personal municipal tax and prefectural tax in 2021. In particular, if you are deducted from your salary due to special collection and you file a final tax return, the amount submitted after March 16 will not be reflected in the tax determination letter sent in May.
In this case, we will send you a letter of change or decision of the tax amount of personal municipal tax and prefectural tax in 2021, so we ask for your understanding and understanding.
About report of municipal tax, prefectural tax in 2021
We sent municipal tax, prefectural tax report from ward office to all of you filed every year on February 12.
This year, please submit by mail as much as possible from the viewpoint of preventing the new coronavirus infection (electronic filing is not supported). An example of the declaration form and a reply envelope are enclosed, so please use it when filing by mail.
In addition, acceptance at report meeting place is finished on Monday, March 15, and if you wish to file a report at the ward office, we will accept it at the 26th floor on the second floor of the main building.
※Please be sure to wear a mask when you come to the Agency. In addition, please refrain from coming to the agency if you have a fever or those who are not feeling well.

As the filing deadline approaches after April, many people are expected to visit, so please come as soon as possible.
※Please use e-Tax that can be used from home to reduce the risk of infection with the new coronavirus infection.
