It's different from the evacuation sites in the event of an earthquake. This is the evacuation sites in case of an earthquake.

Evacuation means "evacuation" of "difficulty", and going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation behavior.
Please consider evacuation sites in advance, such as "evacuation at home" when safety is possible at home or keeping safe relatives and friends' homes as evacuation destinations.

The evacuation sites will be established when the evacuation warning is issued following the announcement of "Earthquake Disaster Warning Information".

In Yokohama City, we have identified cliffs that could cause significant damage to houses in the event of a landslide, and have selected the “Immediate evacuation warning Target Area” that simultaneously announces landslide disaster warning information and announces the evacuation warning.

evacuation warning will be issued in the immediate evacuation warning area in Hodogaya Ward, and evacuation sites will open three locations in Hodogaya Ward.

Precautions for Evacuation

1. Unlike earthquakes, you can take measures in advance, so be sure to actively collect disaster prevention and weather information.


2. Evacuation after the rain and wind become stronger or flooded is very dangerous. Let's try to evacuate as soon as possible depending on the situation.


3. If it is already flooded, or if it is dangerous to move to evacuation sites due to strong winds or heavy rain, evacuate to the second floor or higher of a room or building away from the cliff.

4. An additional evacuation sites may be opened depending on weather conditions and the size of the typhoon. Evacuation with pets

1. Please bring a cage, carry bag, etc. to put your pet.
2. Please prepare tools (pet food, etc.) necessary for temporary breeding as necessary.
3. At evacuation centers, people and pets are evacuated in separate places, and pets cannot be brought into the space where evacuees are located.
4. Pets cannot be evacuated at Ikot House evacuation sites.

Points to note at evacuation centers in evacuation sites

If you are unable to ensure safety at home and evacuate to a evacuation sites evacuation center, please note the following:

1. Please bring your own minimum necessary items such as water, food and emergency listings.

2. Evacuees must fill out the designated list of evacuees with required items when entering or leaving.

3. Please refrain from evacuation by car. Evacuation by car is dangerous because it can lead to the occurrence of secondary disaster due to traffic congestion such as broken cars and hinder emergency vehicles and those who evacuate on foot. Also, you cannot park evacuees' cars in each evacuation sites.
