About open call for participants of utilization company of former Shodo Junior High School

 Yokohama City is actively promoting the maximization of value through strategic utilization of closed schools and other assets.

 The former Shodo Junior High School located in Sakae Ward was closed in April 2015, and since the school was closed in April 2015, the area and related ward bureaus repeatedly examined, and the direction of utilization based on local needs was finalized. Publicly recruited businesses (land loan, buildings are sold) using the price fixed proposal method.

※The price fixed proposal method is a public offering method that determines the prospective business by examining the contents of the business proposal after fixing the loan / sale price.

 In the former Shodo Junior High School utilization company open call for participants (application acceptance end on March 23, 2023), there are five applications, and Yokohama-shi possessed asset open call for participants sale (hereinafter referred to as "committee"). [Notice] On-site inspections (accepted at any time during February) (Updated on January 30, 2023) ※Reception has been closed.

 Applications will be accepted at any time during February 2023 in order to lead to specific proposals for on-site inspections (applications that have already been inspected are also possible).
 Companies wishing to visit the site should fill out the “Application for Site Inspection (Additional)” with required items, attach it to an e-mail, and submit it.

(1)Application for recruitment

Land
  • It will be delivered as it is, and will be leased for business use for 30 years.
  • Retaining walls and fences along the border are included in the land, and during the lease period, the company shall maintain and manage it properly.
Buildings
  • It will be sold as it is. Businesses can use it after renovation, etc., or build a new building after dismantling and removing.
  • Buildings include existing school buildings, gymnasiums, martial arts halls, 8 storages, structures and Tachiki, etc.
Others
  • At the end of the fixed-term lease term for business use, the land will be returned in a vacant state.

(2)Proposals for business in line with local needs

Please make a proposal along "advice for town development in Kamigo east district" which "regeneration, activation committee of Kamigo east district town" composed of local representatives gathered.

※The content and scale of the initiative shall be based on the proposal of the applicant, and will be evaluated in the examination.

(3)Development of community houses

It will be about 300m2 for renting to Yokohama City after maintenance including interiors.

(4)Designated as evacuation shelter (designated emergency evacuation sites, designated evacuation centers)

Please agree to designate as evacuation shelter. In addition, upon receiving the designation, we will provide evacuation space (indoor and outdoor) and space such as disaster prevention storage.
