City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau owns a komute boat.
The Waters Management Division is engaged in various tasks to keep the sea in good condition, and it is a ship that is very active there.

Work introduction of port boats (patrol)

Using these four vessels, the area we patrol is called the port area.
The port area is the sea part of Yokohama Port, which covers an area of approximately 7,220 hectares and more than 2,000 Yokohama Stadium.
This large area is shared by four port boats, and patrols every day, including weekends and holidays.

However, in fact, not only the port area, but also part of the river area is subject to patrols.
We carry out patrols in cooperation with Kanagawa Prefecture.
