2019 Economic Census - Basic Survey

The Economic Census-Basic Survey is intended to clarify the basic structure such as the activity status of establishments and companies in Japan nationwide and by region, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and to contribute to the development of a business population database. .

Of the statistical tables published by the government at the general counter for government statistics "e-Stat" for government statistics, we have extracted for Yokohama City.
The survey A survey covers privately-owned establishments, and survey B survey covers business establishments of the national and local governments.

Notes to be noted when comparing with past Economic Census results

The 2019 Economic Census-Basic Survey differs from the past Economic Census in the following points, so please be aware of these points when comparing chronological comparisons.

In this survey (A survey), the survey was conducted sequentially from June 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, rather than at one point. In addition, utilizing the corporate number, the company has been registered on the NTA corporate number publication site, and the business establishments that were not captured in the previous survey are added to the survey list.
For existing offices, surveys are conducted by a method of confirming from the exterior, etc., so the survey items are three items: name, location, and activity status.
