Demographics during 2022 and Population by Age as of January 1, 2023

This report summarizes the demographics of Yokohama City from January 1 to December 31, 2022, as well as population by age as of January 1, 2023.
Demographics capture the movement of the population from two aspects: social dynamics caused by social factors such as in-migration and out-migration, and natural dynamics that include birth and death.
In addition, the population by age is calculated as of January 1 of each year to supplement the results of the census conducted every five years and to clarify the population by age every year.
