Symposium to think about "open space" of new city hall of Yokohama

　About maintenance of new city hall, design build company (Takenaka, Nishimatsu construction consortium) in charge of design, construction collectively was decided in February, 2016, and, for construction start of summer of 2016, design work We are proceeding.
　In the low-rise part of the new city hall, many citizens are planning to maintain a hydrophilic space where they can easily gather and relax and a "open space" such as an atrium (covered open space).
　In order to make the citizens widely aware of the outline of such low-rise plans, and to promote the design work, in order to deepen their thoughts on the use of open spaces in the low-rise areas, the fields of utilization, management and operation of public spaces We invited experts who are active in various parts of the country and held a symposium in three directions in the city.
