Industrial waste disposed of by Yokohama City

Yokohama City Notification No. 324

Part of the industrial waste (December 1971 Yokohama City Notification No. 247) disposed of by Yokohama City will be revised as follows and will come into effect on April 25, 2018.

No. 1 Industrial waste to be disposed of at an incineration facility in Yokohama City
Type

1 Textile waste (limited to those related to the textile industry (excluding clothing and other textile products manufacturing))
2 Solid unwanted substances related to animals or plants used as raw materials in the food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or fragrance manufacturing industries, which have been pretreated.
3 Others, especially those deemed appropriate by the mayor

Amount

1 An average of 100 kilograms or less per day, combined with 3 tons or less per month
2 If the above calculation standards do not conform to the actual situation, less than 10 cubic meters per month
3 But we shall not depend on rule of 1 and 2 about other things that the mayor recognized as appropriate in particular.

ShapeThose that have not been hollowed out in advance and have been crushed or cut to approximately 50 cm or less. However, for other things that the mayor deems appropriate, those that have been shaped appropriately according to the instructions of the mayor.
DischargersBusinesses of small and medium-sized enterprises in Yokohama City and other businesses deemed appropriate by the mayor, who reported to the mayor about bringing the above industrial waste to incineration facilities in Yokohama City and received the instructions .

1 Polychlorinated biphenyl adhered or not enclosed
2 Oil is attached or not enclosed
3 Those that do not produce oil slick by throwing them into water
4 Those that do not float in the water
5 Poisonous and deleterious substances (poisonous, deleterious substances and specific poisons prescribed in Article 2 of the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Act (Act No. 303 of 1950)) attached or not mixed
6 Those that do not have significant color development, foaming, scattering, ignition and odor
7 Those that are not in hollow state
8 For cinders, heat weight loss of 15% or less and conforms to the criteria shown in the separate table
 For powdered ones, necessary measures have been taken, such as humidifying them so that they do not scatter into the atmosphere.
9 Regarding sludge, water is 85% or less, has no liquidity, conforms to the criteria shown in the separate table, and for organic sludge, heat reduction at incineration facilities, etc. Those that meet the criteria shown in the separate table
 For powdered ones, necessary measures have been taken, such as humidifying them so that they do not scatter into the atmosphere.
10 Minings are approximately 30 cm or less in diameter and conform to the criteria shown in the separate table.
11 For soot and dust, necessary measures have been taken, such as packing them so that they do not fly into the atmosphere in advance, and conform to the criteria shown in the separate table.
12 For waste plastics, those that have been crushed or cut to a maximum diameter of approximately 15 cm or less, or those that have been melted or solidified to a maximum diameter of approximately 30 cm or less and have a specific gravity of 1.1 or more
13 For rubber waste, those that have been crushed or cut to a maximum diameter of approximately 15 cm or less, or those that have been melted or solidified to a maximum diameter of approximately 30 cm or less and have a specific gravity of 1.1 or more
14 Metal waste, glass waste, concrete waste, ceramics waste, and debris are crushed or cut to a maximum diameter of 30 cm or less.
15 Infectious industrial waste is incinerated to eliminate infectiousness and conform to the criteria shown in the separate table.
About 16 other things that the mayor recognized as appropriate in particular, those that have been crushed or cut to a maximum diameter of 30 cm or less, and conform to the criteria shown in the separate table
