What is the Yokohama R (Reduce) Committee?

The Yokohama R Committee is composed of three members: citizens, businesses, and the government. We will help you realize new initiatives by doing so.

Progress of establishment of the Yokohama R (Reduce) Committee

In order to expand the efforts of reduce, it is necessary for citizens, businesses, and governments to work together from their respective standpoints.
Therefore, in July 2009, the Yokohama City Challenge the Reduce Citizens' Committee and the Three-Party Study Group were set up, and in order for the three parties to promote the reduction efforts with a common understanding and goals, We examined specific initiatives and division of roles, and summarized the results in July 2010.
Based on the results of the examination, "Yokohama R (Reduce) Hiroba" was set up on October 1, 2010 as a "mechanism" where everyone can share information by receiving and transmitting a lot of information and participate. . Among them, the "Yokohama R (Reduce) Committee" was organized to realize new ideas for reducing initiatives.
