What is the Yokohama City Women's Participation Promotion Council?

It is a regional platform to work on promoting women's advancement in the area in cooperation with related organizations, including city economic organizations, for the realization of a society where women in the city can demonstrate their abilities in various fields.

This council will examine specific problem solutions to promote the active participation of local women, such as reviewing work styles including men and women, promoting the appointment of women, and public relations PR that fosters momentum throughout society. .

This council is positioned as a "council" based on Article 27 of the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Women's Participation in Occupational Life".
