Yokohama International Community Development Guidelines

In recent years, with the rapid globalization of society, economy and culture, the number of foreign citizens in the city has increased. In addition, Yokohama City is actively attracting foreign-affiliated companies and foreign tourists.
Under these circumstances, the “Yokohama International Community Development Committee”, which is made up of Japanese and foreign experts, issued a 2004 report on “How to coexist with foreign citizens” and “Foreigners”. We received a 2005 report on "town development that is attractive to people".
Based on these reports, we have formulated the "Yokohama International Community Development Guidelines". In the future, based on these guidelines, we will promote the development of towns that are easy for everyone to live and work.
