Yokohama City Career Education Program (former internship)

The Yokohama City Career Education Program is implemented for the purpose of having technical college students, university students, and graduate students to improve their professional awareness and deepen their understanding of municipal administration.

Those who meet all of the conditions 1 to 4 below can participate.

　１．3rd and 4th year students of colleges of technology and 1st year of majors, 2nd and 3rd year students (4-year undergraduate undergraduate schools), 1st year students
　　　(Limited to educational institutions with bases in Japan and can submit confirmations in Japanese.)
　２．Those who are interested in Yokohama municipal administration and are willing to work actively on the program
　３．Those who can comply with the rules and precautions stipulated in the Yokohama City Career Education Program Implementation Guidelines
　４．Those who meet the conditions for acceptance of each workplace (see "List of workplaces accepted by Yokohama City Career Education Program in FY2024 (PDF: 335KB)")

　※However, if you wish to participate in the ward office, you will not be able to accept it in your residential area.

From Thursday, August 1, 2024 to Friday, September 20, the period specified by the workplace where each program hosting workplace

Participating students shall have a status as a student at each educational institution. In addition, the face-to-face program is subject to participation in accident insurance and liability insurance, and any accidents during the program shall be borne by the student's own responsibility. "Online Program" does not require insurance.

No compensation, benefits, etc. will not be paid. Transportation expenses, food expenses, etc. are also paid by yourself.

Selection and decision will be made based on the application details, and will be notified by mid-July.
The results of the selection will be shared with the educational institution where you are enrolled.
