At 20:30 on January 27, 2022, "chloric acid" exceeding the national standard water quality standard (0.6 mg/L) was detected in tap water collected at the Takatsuka Reservoir (Izumi Ward) sent from Kosuzume Purifiction Plant. Regarding this, as a result of replacing the water, it was confirmed that it was within the standard value at 1:00 today.
In addition, water quality was monitored at three locations in the target water supply area, but as of 11:15 today, it was confirmed that all were within the water quality standard value by cleaning inside the distribution pipe.
Until now, the concentration was considered to have no effect on health, but customers who refrained from drinking can also drink it with confidence.
We deeply apologize to the citizens for their concerns and inconvenience.
