With the occurrence of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, today, relevant executives led by the mayor and launched the "Yokohama City affected areas Support Team".
We instructed each station to make necessary preparations to provide prompt support to affected areas.
While checking the situation in affected areas, we will actively provide necessary support, including the provision of supplies.
1. Status of Support at present
(1) Dispatch of two water vehicle units to Takaoka City or Himi City, Toyama Prefecture (scheduled for January 3)
(2) Preparation for dispatching aviation fire brigade as an emergency fire brigade
※Details of each dispatch will be announced separately from the competent department.
(3) Installation of donation boxes
A. Installation period
From Thursday, January 4, 2024 to the time being
B. Installation location
City Hall 1st floor
※We will also expand the setting of the ward.
