Yokohama municipal high school student thinks about city council member and the future of Yokohama!

With the reduction of the age of suffrage and adult age, the younger generation reaching the age of 18 will participate in society and politics.
It is important to develop the power to raise the awareness of sovereigns.
Since fiscal 2015, Yokohama City Council has been visiting City Counsil by students from Yokohama City High School.
High school students think about issues and familiar issues in Yokohama through tours of the Capitol and dialogues with city council members.
This has led to an increase in the awareness of sovereigns.
This time, we conducted a parliamentary simulation to experience the flow of the plenary session, and aimed at members of parliament and parliamentary activities.
We will continue to think about the future of Yokohama while deepening our understanding.
