Eliza R. Sidmore, an American traveller who loves Japan, loves cherry blossoms, and loves the hearts of Japanese people. Saplings of Sidmore Cherry Blossoms related to her were donated to Midori Ward by the Sidmore Cherry Blossom Society Yokohama.
On Sunday, November 19, the seedlings were planted in the front yard of Harmony Midori, a complex facility that houses five facilities, including the Nakayama District Center, by the Sydney Cherry Blossom Association Yokohama and Mayor Midori.
