Eliza R. Sidmore, an American traveller who loved Japan, loved cherry blossoms, and loved the hearts of Japanese people. Seedmore cherry tree saplings related to her were donated to Midori Ward by "Sidmore Sakura no Kai Yokohama".
On Sunday, November 19, "Sidmore Sakura no Kai Yokohama" and Mayor Midori planted these seedlings in the front yard of the complex "Harmony Midori", which contains five facilities, including the Nakayama District Center.
