We will start demonstration experiments of boarding services using touch payments such as credit cards at all subway stations.

During 2024, City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau will commence verification tests on touch-payment cards (credits, debits, prepaid cards) and smartphones at all 40 municipal subway stations.
This boarding service eliminates the need to charge an IC card or purchase a ticket, and the customer's touch payment card (credit, debit, prepaid) or a smartphone with the card set, etc. You can pass through the ticket gate by touching the dedicated reader to be newly installed.
