Transparent window glass generates electricity! Launched the latest hands-on solar panels at Isogo Ward General Government Building~

In Yokohama City, we are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% in fiscal 2030 and realize Zero Carbon Yokohama, a decarbonized society by 2050.
ENEOS Co., Ltd. Negishi Refinery is located in Isogo Ward, and ENEOS Co., Ltd. and Isogo Ward have been cooperating with each other, including bus tours for elementary school students and introduction of decarbonization initiatives in the Yokohama Isogo Ward version.
Isogo Ward has concluded a partnership agreement with ENEOS Holdings Co., Ltd. and Isogo Ward will exhibit transparent solar panels for windows (hereinafter referred to as "power generation panels"), which were lent by the company.
In this exhibition, power generation can be started and stopped by applying or blocking sunlight to the power generation panel, and the chandelier can be moved and stopped. By having children who will lead the next generation actually experience the mechanism of power generation, they will be interested in the transition to renewable energy and a decarbonized lifestyle.
