Aoba Ward is one of the longest lives in Japan, but in extending healthy life expectancy, mental health is important as well as physical health. In order to further promote dementia measures, we concluded an agreement on the promotion of joint research between Aoba Ward and Toin Gakuen (Toin University of Yokohama), which has a proven track record in research on social participation of elderly people.
Based on this agreement, we will conduct a questionnaire survey on the risk of dementia on both mental and physical aspects by mail and face-to-face during FY2022.
