Mayor's Greeting

Mayor

Thank you very much for your busy schedule today. I heard that the activities of the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in District 4 are attracting attention for contributing to and contributing to the revitalization of the entire district, and I would like to talk with the members. , I visited. I would like to have a lively discussion with you, so thank you.

The reason why I started "Everyone's Canteen"

Explanation by Representative

Participant

After hearing the story of the principal of the elementary school, during the long vacation without school lunch, the children thought about what they were doing for lunch and what they could do in the community, so we called on Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and local organizations to give them a delicious lunch.
Like lunch for children during long holidays, the idea of whether it is possible to deal with the detention of elderly people living alone, to reduce the burden on parents with small children, and to prepare for supply of hot meals in the event of a disaster.
"I'll open a restaurant in the area and let you eat the full stomach while there is no school lunch!" "Elderly people may come out if they can have lunch together." "If you provide it at a low price, parents who are raising children may feel free to participate with their children!" "Disaster prevention is" everyday practice is important! " "I thought it was the aim of "Everyone's cafeteria."
Five Neighborhood Association and three organizations raised their hands to call out, "Would you like to have a restaurant once because curry is fine during summer vacation?"

The sense of solidarity in the strengthened region and the goal of the “Everyone's Canteen”

Posters will be posted on approximately 150 bulletin boards in District 4. The map is given to elementary school student through elementary school and Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations. In addition, we hand over to child care generation in child care salon. From this year, we plan to give it to the elderly. We also rent home economics classes at elementary schools, and have local people enjoy meals with children. Also, at the community hall event, I was interested in Neighborhood Association activities and the presence of community hall. Holding the “Minna no Canteen” strengthened the sense of solidarity in the region.
We wanted to give children an experience of eating at a restaurant, so we also focused on menus and ingredients. In addition, local adults and the elderly also eat together. We were so happy that we could eat it, and everyone was happy.
It is open in elementary school home economics classes, community hall, and many other places. There are many elderly people, and a lot of self-government chairpersons come every time. The children wrote hard on paper, saying, "If you listen to your impressions." The child who couldn't write yet was a great encouragement for the bearer, such as the message of the picture, the one that was carefully painted, and the one that only his own name.
In many comments, when I found a comment saying, "My parents are working and only I can eat full stomach, but I was happy to be able to eat full stomach at" Minna no Shokudo "in addition to dinner." All the people involved were impressed, "This is it!" This was the goal of everyone's cafeteria.

Even under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, "What I can do somehow!"

Participant

For one year since the spring break in 2020, it was not possible to hold the event due to the spread of COVID-19. Still, I thought, "What I can do!", So I decided to take thorough measures to prevent infection, and resume "Everyone's Canteen" in a take-out format. I was worried, but I was able to provide 1.5-3 times more meals. It turned out that we could communicate enough at the reception and delivery, we could understand the state of the family from the state of the children more than ever, and it was a great surprise and joy that those who could not participate until now participated also participated . Spring and summer vacations in 2021 were canceled due to COVID-19, but we were able to hold winter vacations and spring vacations in 2022.
From 2021, we have been holding a bimonthly "Everyone's Canteen Exchange Meeting" to exchange opinions, etc., with the aim of deepening exchanges between the leaders and making the "Everyone's Canteen" a better initiative. The “Minna no Canteen” is held in collaboration with Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and local organizations, as well as NPOs and volunteer groups.

The community is responsible for what the child-rearing generation cannot do

Participant

In our fourth district, we have a thought about child care support, including this "canteen for everyone". That is to support the living environment of "future local leaders = children" in the community.
Based on this idea, we have set the goal of "the community is responsible for what the child-rearing generation cannot do now" and are working on these three.
①community development, where children can connect and help each other and enjoy each other together.
②community development, where children are connected to the community and grow while feeling the community.
③community development, where children can be watched by the community and feel happy and grow.
In addition, it has not been possible to hold the event for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but as the community works together to "cultivate future local leaders" such as "Minna no Matsuri", the fourth district is "Child To a city where you want to bring up and raise!" I look forward to it.

Participant to future regional leaders

Participant

When I first held it, I was told that I would make 100 meals, so I was very worried that it would really come, and I wondered what would happen on the day.
Our Neighborhood Association has three concepts. The first one is the leader, but we are working with Neighborhood Association officers, welfare members and parents of children's associations. I want my parents to become the leaders of Neighborhood Association in the future, and I am thinking about that.
And the second is not local production for local consumption, but the ingredients are fresh and delicious in the local shopping street, and we use the ones from that shop to return to the local area . The third is the menu, and curry and rice is for children and adults.

Participant

In our Neighborhood Association, senior citizens' associations have been trying to have lunch for 14 years with the idea of going out of their homes and having dinner together.

Participant

I had been the town chairman for six years, but when I was replaced by the next person, only the chairman of the contact association wanted to do it and want to cooperate, so I have been holding a dinner party since then . Everyone is having fun interacting with each other so that children and the elderly can be pleased even a little. I heard that there were many events only in District 4, but I think Nishi Ward would be better if all Nishi Ward did this.

"I want everyone to be happy," "I want you to feel a little happiness."

Participant

In my Neighborhood Association, I create a flyer every time and recruit volunteers, not just officers, and have everyone's cafeteria cooperate. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I was very particular about the atmosphere, layout, and decoration of the venue, and I hope everyone was pleased. Now we are unable to provide hospitality due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we want everyone to be pleased with our feelings. It's really fun to prepare, and it's going to be worth living.

Participant

Our group is getting older and older, and our friends are helping us. The taste is devised so that adults and children can eat it. Everyone thinks and devises the arrangement. I would like to continue to make lunch boxes that will make everyone feel small happiness.

Participant

I am a regional coordinator in this elementary school district. The elementary school was also very cooperative and lent a home economics room because it was a coordinator who was responsible for connecting the school and the community. Under such circumstances, I am thinking now that there are boys and girls who come every time, and at that time I was an elementary school student, now I am in high school, about two people came to the venue from that time, I saw that I paid silently and paid every time because I was a small child, and I felt that it would be okay if these children could enjoy alone or two people and join me in this way." You.

New initiatives born from information dissemination

Participant

As a volunteer group, I have a home-open dining room. I do it once a week with the feeling that the cafeteria is where I live. As a feature, the stay time is long, and it is a place for parents and children and moms to interact, and a place for various information exchange. It's small because it's done at a private house, but I think you can interact because you can play for a long time. Another feature is that half of the leaders are younger generations, so there is a very strong point in SNS. Since it is publicized on the homepage, Twitter, LINE, etc., it is said that it specializes in disseminating information. As a result, young moms brought children between the ages of 2 and 3, and dads brought children between the ages of 0 and 3. Then, a rotary club, a hotel, or a department store called out about food loss initiatives, and after the department store closes every Friday, we go to get the remaining bread and distribute it free of charge as a food loss approach in front of our home Did. It's late at night, so it's not a very lively event. Since we are working as a food loss initiative, people who are difficult to come can come. In that context, I can talk a little bit and communication is born.

Participant

My NPO rented a house 12 years ago, where I started a multi-generational exchange salon. Originally, I was active in a different district, and there was no connection or connection, but I participated in the festival and called out to everyone's cafeteria. I'm very happy to say "Everyone's Canteen" instead of "Children's Canteen", and it's not possible for elderly people and children to eat together, because there are many nuclear families in this era .
When I participated before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people were very attracted to eating rice while talking very happily around the table, and although it was a little power, I participated.

Even if you are not a creator, "Is there anything I can help?"

Participant

Regarding the 4th District Hall, we also improved the ICT environment and renovated aging equipment so that everyone can use the facilities comfortably. I think this was a good idea to hold the "Everyone's Canteen".

Participant

I'm chairman of Neighborhood Association, but I'm not the creator, but I'm involved in helping others. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the former chairman went to various districts to help and tour the launch of the “Minna no Canteen”, and our Neighborhood Association was struggling to participate. I will take over the rest, and I will distribute and carry out what I have taken out so that everyone can eat, and participate in the feeling that I would like to be able to help you a little. I hope that young parents will be able to help them eventually. This year we would like to hold the event using our community hall. I would like to continue to interact with each other.

Participant

My Neighborhood Associations is a town with a lot of thin and steep mountain hills, which makes it difficult for the elderly. "Everyone's cafeteria" is for children, the elderly and child-raising households, but there is a hall in a place where it is very difficult for the elderly to come and take it home, and I am doing it while thinking about various methods But after all, it is the bearer. To secure the leaders.
I can't make it, so I'm doing reception and organizing staff, but since the number is inevitably limited, the children will hold 100 yen coins, but there is no other thing. When you look at such things, there are some things that are really done for all the children. I think that the number of people seeking meals at the "Everyone's Canteen" will increase, so I would like to gather leaders, including the Children's Association.

Participant

When I first did it in my Neighborhood Association, I was most worried about "Will everyone come?", but it was run out. The creator is making a great effort. I can't cook, so at least I'm going out to help you.

"Everyone's Canteen" instead of "Children's Canteen"

Participant

I think that "Everyone's Canteen" is very important instead of "Children's Canteen". Living in the city and being able to raise children with peace of mind means, for example, if you are worried about raising children, you can consult a neighborhood next to you, or if you go to a place like `` Minna no Canteen '', you have similar problems, only my child I think that there are various effects that are derived from the cafeteria in that sense, such as being relieved. I'm not the leader of the cafeteria, so I always greet people who stand outside, but if I say, "Everyone can use the cafeteria," parents and children will come back and use it There is. My thoughts are a well-ventilated city. I think it would be nice to be a town where people who can rely on in an emergency can be nearby and have a sense of security, so I participate in everyone's cafeteria. Not only that, but in District 4, all events have "everyone". I think that's a very nice thing for me.

Participant

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when lunch boxes are sold, they are made on the second floor and transported to the first floor. At the reception, when a parent with a child comes, the story of child care until a lunch box is made, and when the elderly come, the story of illness becomes a topic and I can have a very good contact, and the current shape is also good There are times when I think it is.
The trivial word "contact". I think that's a very good word.

Participant

I became the chairman of the district 15 years ago. I didn't know at all how much I could do, but I'm also holding events in this area to do what I can do. I think it is wonderful because these activities have a sense of solidarity in the community.

Mayor

Thank you very much. Listening to various stories, it's a bond in the area. I really understood that you are working together to create a district. Listening to your story, I feel like I understand why it's going well. After all, children come to be sucked in, and everyone is working hard to respond to it. I realized that it was a very good circulation and it was in the circle of the fourth district. When I was a child, there was an atmosphere where people like you were watching over the entire district. However, such a tendency is becoming sparse, especially in urban areas, so I think that trend is remarkable. Nevertheless, I think that you have a lot of difficulties while having fun yourself, but I understand that it is a really wonderful initiative that cooperates and watches over your children and supports parents. Was.

What I feel through activities

Mayor

Do you feel what you feel while interacting with your children and parents in "Everyone's Canteen" or local activities?

Participant

Well, recently, I heard that PTA is disappearing at elementary school, and our age is about people without thinking about ourselves, but young people do not have such feelings I feel very much. I wonder if there are not many places to jump into local activities without loss. Before that, I think it's hard for my life. I don't think it's possible to do people because it's hard to raise children and various things. That's why the 4th district says, "Let's do our best for young people."

Having an activity base

Mayor

I think it is important to continue our efforts. Do you have any expectations of the government in the future while cooperating with the ward office in various ways?

Participant

The reason why we can do this kind of activity is that there is a hall here is very big. If you have an activity base, you can act immediately, but you can't do it at all without such a place. Also, repairing each community hall kitchen would be very useful in the event of a disaster because supply of hot meals could be built there. I would like you to support us in such a place.

Mayor comment

Mayor

Thank you very much. It was good to hear each person's thoughts on "Everyone's Canteen". I really understand your thoughts very much, and I'm really happy that some people have leadership like representatives. Now that the bond between children and the district is about to fade, I would like you to continue these efforts in the fourth district by all means, and I hope that these efforts will spread more in other districts. think. I think you got hints on what the government can do and what to do for that purpose. Thank you very much for your continued support of these efforts.
