We will start offering subsidies for strengthening market export capabilities (FY2023).

Businesses in the Yokohama City Central Wholesale Market will respond to changes in consumption behavior due to COVID-19, etc., and the decrease in sales due to the shrinking market due to the declining birthrate and aging population in Japan. When developing new sales channels, etc., a part of the cost will be subsidized.

Application method and application deadline

Application deadline: Friday, September 29, 2023

 Please submit required documents such as business plans to grant application of Yokohama-shi designation form after attaching.
(Caution) Submissions submitted by 5:00 pm on the last day of the deadline shall be submitted within the deadline.
    Even before the deadline, the application will be closed when the budget is reached.

Subsidiary rate and subsidy limit

 The subsidy rate is half, and the upper limit is 250,000 yen

・Exhibits at exhibitions and business meetings held in Japan and overseas (including online activities)
・Business negotiations with overseas companies (including online implementation)
・Overseas market surveys (however, only when using external institutions)
・Multilingual support (multi-language support such as catalogs, brochures, e-commerce sites, etc.)
※Businesses ordered and contracted before the application submission date are not eligible for assistance.

Subsidized expenses (please check the market export power enhancement support project subsidy outline)

Exhibit fees, venue equipment costs, overseas travel expenses, overseas accommodation expenses, printed matter production costs, communication transportation costs, interpreting/translation costs, transportation and customs clearance costs for exhibitors, etc.
※For details, please refer to the “Summary of Market Export Capability Enhancement Support Project Subsidy Guidelines”.

Schedule

・Submission of grant application form until September 29, 2023
・Until March 2024    Project implementation
・Submission of Reports and related documents until March 31, 2024
 ※Notice 1 This subsidy is for contracts and orders after submitting the application form.
       Therefore, expenses contracted and ordered prior to the date stated in the application form are not covered.
     2 Subsidies cannot be paid if the submission of reports etc. is delayed. Observe deadlines and allow extra time in the project implementation schedule

・Business income and expenditure budget book [Form No. 1-3]
・For corporations, a certificate of all history matters (within three months of issuance), individuals are copies of registration form, etc.
・The following documents proving the status of tax payment (both within three months of issuance)
  Corporate: Tax payment certificate of the latest corporate municipal tax Individual: Latest personal business tax payment certificate
・Pledge concerning application [Form No.1-4]
・Quotation (if necessary, reason statement)
・List of Directors, etc. [Form No. 1-5]
