Flow of Procedure

<Examination of architectural planning>
・Check the Building Standards Law, Yokohama City Building Standards Ordinance, Residential Land Development Regulation Law, City Planning Act, and other related laws and regulations.

<Submission of prior consultation form>
・Please make the building permit prior consultation slip (1 copy) (Excel: 19KB) a head paper and submit it with the following documents.

attached documents / City Planning Map (i-Mappy (outside site) is also acceptable), guide map, layout plan, floor plan, elevation plan, etc.
Preliminary consultation and permission application attached documents checklist and other books necessary for examination of matters to be approved

<Permissions and Authorization Preparation Meeting> In principle, it will be held on Wednesday afternoon, so please refrain from visiting the agency or telephone inquiries during this time.
・We will determine whether or not you are subject to permission.

<Procedures for Related Laws, etc.>
・Procedures to be completed before the application for permission

  • Permission / certification under the provisions of Article 43, Paragraph 2 of the Building Standards Act
  • City Planning Act Development Permit, Mid- and High-Rise Ordinance
  • Yokohama-shi welfare town development regulations, the regulations about adjustment of development business, other necessary procedures

<Submission of permission application>

<Allower Notice>
・After paperwork (approval, etc.), we will issue a permission letter (No. 5 style 2).
*If there is no problem, permission will be granted in approximately two weeks after the application is accepted.

<Application for building confirmation>
・Please attach a copy of the permission letter and submit it to the confirmation application window.
・If there is a change in the book, please consult before applying for confirmation. .

<Application for change>
・If there is a change (limited to those that are deemed to be minor), a plan change approval (word: 19KB) procedure is required.

How to submit and receive each document

It is basically handled at the counter, but some materials can also be handled by mail.
