Purpose of installation
We establish disaster prevention measures Exploratory Committee such as Yokohama-shi development residential land as affiliated organization of the mayor to plan further enhancement of residential land development administration in Yokohama-shi and promotion of disaster prevention measures of cliff land and existing retaining wall.

Administration in charge
In response to the mayor's consultation, the committee investigates and discusses the following matters in order to achieve the purpose of the preceding Article, reports, or submits opinions.
(1)Residential land development and specific embankment regulation law (Act No. 191 of 1961) Hereinafter referred to as the “law”. ) Construction restricted areas such as residential land development prescribed in Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the Act, specific embankment restricted areas prescribed in Article 26, Paragraph 1 of the Act, and development prescribed in Article 45, Paragraph 1 of the Act Thing about designation of residential land disaster prevention area.
(2)A law amending a part of the Regulation Law for Residential Land Development (Act No. 55 of 2022) Hereinafter referred to as the “Partial Amendment Law”), Residential Land Development Regulation Law (Act No. 191 of 1961. Hereinafter referred to as the “Old Law”. ) Construction related to residential land development prescribed in Article 9, Paragraph 1 and construction related to residential land development prescribed in Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the Act, and specific embankment prescribed in Article 31, Paragraph 1 of the Act Thing about technical standard of construction about accumulation of debris.
(3)Matters related to recommendations under the provisions of Article 16, Paragraph 2 of the Old Law, which is still based on the previous example pursuant to the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Partial Amendment Law.
(4)According to the provisions of Article 17, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Old Act, and Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Partial Amendment Law, which are still based on the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2 of the Old Act, which are to be based on the previous example.
(5)Thing about method of construction to prevent disaster with residential land development (we say residential land development to prescribe in old law Article 2 second.).
(6)Thing about evaluation of danger of collapse of cliffs and retaining wall.
(7)Construction to prevent the collapse of cliffs and retaining walls (excluding steep slope collapse prevention work prescribed in Article 12, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Prevention of Disasters due to Collapse of Steep Slope (Law No. 57 of 1969) )) Thing about method.
(8)Matters deemed necessary by the mayor regarding measures to prevent disasters in newly built residential lands, cliffs, etc.
