100 Years of Yokohama City Public Architecture (100th Anniversary Magazine)

Last update date July 27, 2023

Title

In 1922 (Daisho 11), a building section was established in the administrative organization of Yokohama City, which is responsible for the maintenance of public buildings such as government buildings and schools.

We celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022(4).

I would like to take this opportunity to look back on the history of public buildings so far and to connect our efforts to the future.

In fiscal 2022, we carried out the "Yokohama City Public Building 100th Anniversary Project" with many stakeholders.

A commemorative magazine that introduces the activities of the past 100 years and the contents of the 100th anniversary project

We have created "100 years of Yokohama City Public Architecture-It's like Yokohama."

※ There is no plan to sell the booklet, but lending and reading at the city library and citizen information center (city hall the third floor) is possible. Please check the holding status of each library.
