100 Years of Public Building in Yokohama (100th Anniversary Magazine)

Last Updated July 27, 2023

Title

In 1922 (Daisho 11), the Building Division, which maintains public buildings such as government buildings and schools, was established in the administrative organization of Yokohama City.

It celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022 (Reiwa 4).

With this as an opportunity, we look back on the history of public architecture so far and connect our efforts to the future.

In fiscal 2022, we carried out the "Yokohama City Public Building 100th Anniversary Project" with many stakeholders.

A commemorative magazine that introduces the activities of the past 100 years and the contents of the 100th anniversary project

"Yokohama City Public Building 100 Years-I've been like Yokohama-"

※ There is no plan to sell the booklet, but you can borrow and read it at the city library and the Citizen Information Center (city hall 3F). Please check the collection status of each library individually.
