What is "Eating Cooperating Shop"?
Did you know that there is a lot of "food loss" in Japan that is originally eaten but is discarded?
Yokohama City is working to promote a lifestyle that values "food" in order to accelerate efforts to reduce food loss through approaches from various perspectives.
In particular, with the aim of reducing food loss when eating out, we are developing a “food-eating cooperating store” business with the cooperation of business operators. Restaurants that can work on reducing leftover food etc. are registered as cooperating stores and introduced on our website.
When you eat out in Yokohama, please use the store registered as a "eating cooperating store" as an eco-friendly activity to eat. You can check the registered store on the homepage of eating cooperating store (outside site).
In addition, we wait for companies providing meals in Yokohama-shi to register as "eating cooperation shop".

Registered stores are working on one or more of the following five items.
