Overview of Public Offerings

In Yokohama-shi, we push forward approach about effective utilization of rainwater regulating pond for the purpose of effective utilization of land and local activation. As part of this initiative, we are looking for businesses that utilize the upper space of the Noba housing complex No. 1 Rainwater Reservoir (Noniwa-cho, Konan-ku). The loan form is a 49-year fixed-term lease agreement for business use, and the company to utilize is selected by open call for participants (two-stage general competitive bidding).

Loan method

Contract for the establishment of fixed-term leasehold for business 49 years
※After the agreement is concluded, necessary procedures such as the design and construction consultation of rainwater regulating pond renovation work and the application for building confirmation will be started immediately, and the contract will be concluded after issuing the building confirmation certificate.

Securing the function of rainwater regulating ponds

Securing and maintaining water storage capacity (periodic inspection, dredging, safety management, repair, etc.)
※Utilization of the land should be carried out after removing trees and accumulated sediment in the current rainwater regulating pond.


Contract form Contract for the establishment of fixed-term leasehold for business (notarized deed)
Contract period 49 years from the date of signing the contract
Minimum rent 294,000 yen per month (excluding consumption tax)
※In this case, the monthly loan fee is not included in the consumption tax because it is a transaction exempt from consumption tax.
 In addition, the contract guarantee amount is equivalent to 12 months of the monthly loan fee, so it is calculated not including consumption tax.
