In Yokohama City, we are conducting a prevention-sencademy so that we can take a step forward in disaster prevention.

This is a theme-based disaster prevention training that even those who have not been interested in disaster prevention can enjoy and learn. Please join us!

The “Disaster Prevention Food Cooking Class”, which was popular last year, will be held again this year!
Lecturer Kayoko Suzuki, a disaster prevention cooking advisor / cooking researcher certified by the Institute of Crisis Management Education, will be invited.

　Tasting snacks that can be easily made even in the event of a disaster.

　This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
　We will conduct disaster prevention lectures based on Mr. Suzuki's actual experience.

This time, we invite Dr. Kayoko Suzuki, a disaster prevention cooking advisor certified by the Institute of Crisis Management Education, to open a disaster prevention Academy on the theme of "Let's make disaster prevention food in case of emergency!"
On the day of the event, you will be able to learn about the importance of daily preparation while experiencing the disaster prevention cooking class by Dr. Kayoko Suzuki.
In addition, this time, a lunch concert by "Yokohama Fire Music Band" will be held at the same time! You can eat the dishes made with disaster prevention cooking while enjoying the wonderful performances played by the fire music band, so please join us!♪

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Kanto Earthquake, which caused great damage in Yokohama.
In addition, 12 years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred on March 11.
Taking advantage of this milestone, we look back on past earthquakes, prepare for disasters that may not occur at any time, take evacuation actions, and raise awareness of disaster prevention at self support and community support.
In order to enhance it, a special performance by the Yokohama City Fire Music Band will be held as a special event of the Sen Academy.

We will look back on the disaster at the time and think about the disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage in the future by taking a picture of the Great Kanto Earthquake held by the Chuo-toshokan and by the Yokohama Fire Music Band in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake in affected areas.
