About reception of fundraising related to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake

"Yokohama City Noto Peninsula Earthquake Fundraising" has been closed. Thank you very much for your cooperation. The donations collected will be used to support the lives of people in affected areas through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Transfer to a dedicated account (Japanese Red Cross Society)

  • Donations include donations to the entire affected areas area (an account opened by the Japan Red Cross Headquarters) and local donations (an account opened by the Japan Red Cross Branch).
  • In either case, if there is only one affected areas, the entire amount will be sent to the donation Distribution Committee of the prefecture.
  • If there are multiple locations in affected areas, donations to the entire affected areas area will be distributed to the donation Distribution Committee of the prefectures listed below according to the disaster situation. "Restricted donations" will be sent to the donation Distribution Committee of the relevant province.

Current distribution destination: Ishikawa, Toyama, Niigata and Fukui prefectures

Points to note

  • Due to the limited acceptance period for donations (donation), credit card cooperation is not accepted because it takes time to deposit funds to the Japan Red Cross from the procedure.
  • The stub of the Japan Post Bank transfer form and the statement of use at the time of transfer of a financial institution can be used as a "tax exemption certificate" when applying for donation deduction.
