Status of asbestos measures in public buildings
For facilities that were identified as "facilities that are enclosed" or "facilities that do not require immediate measures" in the fact-finding survey, appropriate maintenance is performed, such as measuring the suspended amount every year in principle, and facilities are renovated. Measures will be implemented at the same time.
About facility which we have jurisdiction over in this section, we report floating amount measurement result according to the following table.
Location: | Name of the facility | Room name | Spraying status |
---|---|---|---|
Aoba Ward | Aoba Ward General Government Building | Office (1st to 4th floors) | Behind the ceiling |
Measurement time (December 16, 2023) | Amount of asbestos suspended (*1) | |
---|---|---|
Measurement results (book/L) | Lower limit of quantification (*2) | |
1st floor Kumin Hall | Less than 0.3 | 0.3 |
2nd floor corridor | Less than 0.3 | 0.3 |
3rd floor corridor | Less than 0.3 | 0.3 |
4th floor corridor | Less than 0.3 | 0.3 |
※"Facilities that are enclosed" means that the place of use is sealed in the ceiling and the spraying material is relatively harmful (the content is approximately 5% or less, one amosite 2%). This is a facility that performs appropriate maintenance and management, such as measuring the amount of floating every year in principle, and implements measures at the time of facility renovation.
※1) According to a WHO (World Health Organization) health report on the amount of asbestos suspended, "The asbestos concentration in the general environment in urban areas around the world is 1 to 10 bottles / liter (1 to 10 fibers per liter of air) About 10 bottles) ", and it is stated that the effect on health cannot be found at this level.
※2) This is the value set by the measuring organization for measurement, and there are differences for each institution.
