Senior Raku Farm

Every year, we recruit participants for those aged 60 or older who live in Tsuzuki Ward   to promote health and friendship through farming and other activities, and to contribute to the revitalization of the conservation and the local community.
This project is implemented as a collaborative project between the Senior Raku Farm Association (*), the farmer and the Tsuzuki Ward   Office.
※It is a meeting formed by members who participated in Senior Raku Farm in 2005.

Those who live in Tsuzuki Ward   and are over 60 years old who can participate in field work in the morning on weekdays (about 2 hours a week) throughout the year.
(There is also work during midsummer and midwinter.)

Field of Senior Raku Farm (in the Ikebe Agricultural Area, southern farmland across the road of Toho Park)

●Farming work (once a week in the morning on weekdays for about 2 hours)
●Lectures on vegetable making and health (about three times a year)
●Holding walking events
●Conducting various events such as travel events and sweet potato party
●Holding of potato digging experience party inviting nursery school children
●Conduct harvest festivals in cooperation with community care plazas, etc.
●Cleanup activities around the eastern farmland and the Tsuda Daiichi Land Improvement Zone

<Overview of Recruitment of Participants>
◇Target person
　Those who live in the city and are over 60 years old and work in the field in the morning on weekdays (about 2 hours a week).
　Those who can participate throughout the year (there are also work on holidays).
◇Place of activity
　Field of Senior Raku Farm (Ikebe Agricultural Area, southern farmland across the road of Toho Park)
◇Activity Period
　From April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
◇Costs
　8,000 yen (participation fee and accident insurance fee for all members)
◇Others
　・Farm tools, seeds, fertilizers and necessary materials will be prepared by the Senior Raku Farm Association.
　・It is a manual work using hoes, scoops, etc. without using agricultural machines.

　　※About time (3.4) to carry out in field of senior paradise farm, we cancel in rainy weather.
　　　If canceled due to rain, the event will be held on Tuesday, February 25 in the large conference room on the 6th floor of the Tsuzuki Ward   Office.
