It's growing little by little. In particular, Mube's growth is remarkable.
Teika Kazura blooms small white flowers in some places.
We invited them to become a green curtain.

The bottom of the net is becoming a curtain.
Some Mubes have reached the top of the net.
How far will it continue to grow?
A part of Teika Kazura turned red and turned red.
Perhaps because I chose a strong type in the shade, the front entrance side of the net (right side of the photo) was the most sunny, and the more you went to the left, the less the sun did not hit, but there was no difference in growth.
I would like to see what will happen to the first winter.

It is partly reddish. It turns red in the cold of winter, but the new leaves that appear in spring seem to be red.

I measured how effective the green curtain is as a measure against heat using an infrared thermo camera and a simple portable heat index (WBGT).

The heat index (WBGT (wetball black ball temperature): Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) is an index proposed to prevent heat stroke, and the unit is shown at the same degree (°C) as the temperature. , The value is different from the temperature.
The risk of heat stroke increases when the temperature exceeds 28 degrees.

Outside of green curtain: Heat index: 32 degrees, danger
Inside the green curtain: Heat index: 28 degrees Celsius caution
The heat index was also different between the inside and outside of the green curtain, reducing the risk of heat stroke.

At this time, the white flowers of Teika Kazura are blooming all over and become flowers and green curtains.
I tried to plant three kinds of plants, but only Hederahelex has not reached the top of the net and is growing.
I would like to keep watching it so that it will continue to grow and become a mixture of three types.

It is better to sow and plant seedlings of green curtains in May and June.
Planting green curtains of annual grass such as loofah and bitter gourd at this time, it will grow by summer.
