Announced "Bicycle and pedestrian safety measures using green matrix" was announced at the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Saitama Shintoshin Joint Government Building No. 2 on Thursday, June 23. , Was awarded by the Director of the Kanto Regional Development Bureau as an excellence award.

On February 13, 2016, we held "exchange meeting about bicycle, pedestrian safety measures in Tsuzuki Ward   bicycle pedestrian road and green road" with representatives of affiliates of Centerkita, Nakagawa, Tsuzuki Fureai no Oka stations.
Based on the opinions received at that time, we compiled an amendment to the Tsuzuki Ward   Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Project Plan.

We carry out proof experiment in "bicycle, pedestrian safety business that utilized green matrix"! ! (From late October, 2015)

In order to ensure the safety of bicycles and pedestrians and to promote the development of towns where people can live comfortably and with peace of mind, the Tsuzuki Ward   is studying safety measures centered on bicycle pedestrian roads and green roads.

  • Experimental content

Bicycle Pedestrian Road: Clarification of pedestrian priority signs, traffic categories, removal of some planting belts

Green road: Clarification of pedestrian priority signs and traffic categories, improvement of green road entrances

Sidewalks of main road: Widening of pedestrian traffic lines by removing some planting belts on the sidewalk

Experiment Start: After completion of prior explanation and signs, road markings, etc. (From late October 2015)
