Yokohama City Planning Master Plan Tsurumi Ward Plan

The Yokohama City Planning Master Plan is positioned as a "basic policy on city planning of municipalities" stipulated in Article 18-2 of the City Planning Act.
In line with the “Yokohama City Basic Plan (Long-Term Vision)” and “Maintenance, Development and Development of Urban Planning Areas and conservation Policies”, the “Yokohama City Medium-Term Four-Year Plan” and city-specific plans. We aim to realize a future urban image that is integrated with these.
The Tsurumi Ward Plan, which is a regional plan, represents Tsurumi Ward's basic urban planning policy for roughly 20 years from now on.

The Tsurumi Ward Plan of Yokohama City Planning Master Plan was formulated in May 2002 based on the opinions of the residents of the city, as well as the basic policy of town development to realize this vision, based onTsurumi Ward's opinions. More than 10 years have passed since the formulation, and in the meantime, the Tsurumi Ward Plan was revised in January 2020, based on changes in social conditions, the current state of the ward, and the revision of the Yokohama City Planning Master Plan (Overall Plan), which is a plan for the entire city area.
