≪Yokohama City Park Protection Association Awards Ceremony≫

The Yokohama City Park Protection Association Commendation is a commendation from the mayor with appreciation to individuals and groups who have been involved in the protection activities of the park and the management and operation of park facilities. .

◇Individual awards◇
Individual awards have been given since fiscal 1978. This award is given to those who have contributed to the beautification of parks and the management of parks in conservation and other areas, who have been the chairman of protection for more than 10 years.

◇Group awards◇
Group awards have been given since fiscal 2002.
1.Groups that have you try for maintenance, maintenance of park including cleaning and weeding of park, maintenance of flower bed, maintenance of park
2.Groups that have you try for attractive town development that utilized park including activity contributing to support of child care and promotion of traditional culture
3.Organizations that manage and utilize the natural environment of the park and strive to create good nature, green environment, and spread enlightenment.

It recognizes organizations that fall under any of the above and have been active for more than 5 years in principle and serve as models for other protection associations.

The management of familiar parks is nurtured through the cooperation and cooperation of the park protection society and the government. In gathering, we introduce approach of other park protection society and explain the situation of repair, improvement construction, update construction in park. In addition, we introduce technical support such as pruning of middle shrubs and mowing workshops.
