Tsurumi Ward Park Protection Association - Introduction of technical support

Last Updated December 1, 2022

Create a flower bed frame using a wooden frame (1.5m x 3.2m). Considering the balance of color and arrangement, plant seedlings and complete it as a flower bed. In order to make flowers bloom one after another and last for a long time, it is necessary to pick flower patterns. Daily flower pattern picking is a trick to keep the flower bed clean forever.

There are a variety of trees in the park. Among them, a large amount of fallen leaves come out. This is a technical support course to set up a compost yard (a place to make compost that uses the collected fallen leaves together with the soil by regularly mixing the collected fallen leaves) as an effective use of the fallen leaves from the cleaning activities. For composting, it is important to mix water with moderate temperature and air, and regular switching work is required.

The trees in the park have a tree name. In the activities of the protection society, you may be asked, "What is the name of this tree?" In order to respond to such requests, attach a tree nameplate with the correct name of the tree. Being interested in the trees in the park will increase attachment to the park. The tree nameplate writes the tree name on a baked cedar board and attaches it to the tree with a palm rope. Cedar tree nameplate is durable for about three years, so it is necessary to reconnect as the tree grows. The tree nameplate making course is a course on how to make it and how to tie the trees without burden on the trees, and the timing of replacement after installation.

The mowing of the park is based on human-powered weeding using a sickle for mowing. In the case of a park where the mowing area is large and difficult with human power alone, we rent a brush cutter if there is a request from the park protection society. It is a highly safe two-blade mower mower. When renting, you must take a safety course on a weeping cutter.
