Sports promotion committee (former name: physical education guidance committee)

He is a part-time civil servant recommended by each Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and commissioned by The Mayor of Yokohama.
We hold events in the area to promote and spread sports and recreation.

The Tsurumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee currently has 123 members (as of April 1, 2024), working in each district.
This section introduces the main activities organized by the Tsurumi Ward Sports Promotion Committee Liaison Council.

In meeting, we issue public information paper (nickname "Tsuruspo") to tell activity of sports promotion committee to local everybody and plan sports promotion of ward.

The Basic Law on Sports was enforced on August 24, 2011, and the name of the "Sports Guidance Committee" was changed to "Sports Promotion Committee Member".
