Overview
There are various types of disability, each person must be. You may take actions that are difficult for others to understand, but that behavior is meaningful. It was created with the desire to make community development an opportunity for everyone to live with peace of mind, regardless of disability, by having more people know and watching them warmly.
It will be posted at public facilities and welfare service facilities in Tsurumi Ward as needed.

What is the Rights Protection Subcommittee of the Tsurumi Ward Independence Support Council?
What is the Independence Support Council?
The Independence Support Council is a place where people with disabilities can connect people, share local issues in the community, and work together in the community for solutions so that people with disabilities can live in the community with peace of mind.
Not only persons involved in disability welfare, but also health, medical care, education, employment, persons involved, and local residents will discuss and work for community development.
In Tsurumi Ward, there are several liaison meetings, consisting of a consultation support subcommittee, a mental health welfare subcommittee, and a advocacy subcommittee, and a number of liaison meetings.
What is the Advocacy Committee?
It is one of the special subcommittees of the Tsurumi Ward Independence Support Council.
We deepen our understanding of advocacy, disseminate awareness to spread understanding of disability, and create a network to prevent abuse.
As of December 2022, there are 18 disability welfare consultation support organizations and disability welfare service establishments in Tsurumi Ward and neighboring wards.
