I would like to introduce the efforts of Tsurumi Ward during the Week of Disabled Persons.

What is the Week of Disabled Persons?
Every year from December 3rd to 9th is the Week of Disabled Persons. Persons with Disabilities Week is established under the Basic Law for Persons with Disabilities to encourage persons with disabilities to participate in activities in all fields. During this period, efforts will be made nationwide to deepen interest and understanding of persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities.
Initiatives in Tsurumi Ward
We will hold a movie screening.
December 9 Lecture Handbill

Date and time: Monday, December 9, 2024 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm (opening 12:30 pm)
Location: Tsurumi public hall Auditorium (6th floor, Fuga No. 1, 2-1 Toyookacho, Tsurumi-ku)
Contents: Screening of the movie "Umegari Nuno Baka"
Capacity: First 200 people (no application required)
Costs: Free of charge

We will hold a sales event for "Tsurukko" products

"Tsurukko" refers to local activity homes and workshops that promote awareness-raising activities for persons with disabilities and social participation through the sale of Tsurukko products produced by users of disability welfare facilities in the city. Liaison meeting.

During the Week of Persons with Disabilities, we sell Tsurukko products ( sundries, sweets, etc.) and display panels introducing facilities.
We are also making various efforts at public facilities in the city.
