About recruitment of Totsuka Ward child care supporter

We are looking for Totsuka Ward child care supporters! (Delegated in March 2025)

From April 2025, we will recruit child care supporters who provide consultation on child care at public facilities in Totsuka Ward and support activities such as local parent and child circles.

Activities

  1. Exchange support for caregivers at public facilities in the city and consultation on child care
  2. Support for activities to local parent-child circles
  3. Attendance at regular liaison meetings held in Health and Welfare Center, the ward (once a month)
  4. Other duties deemed necessary by Director Child and Youth Bureau (such as training)

Application requirements

Those who fall under all of the following 1 to 5

  1. Those who have an understanding and enthusiasm for child care support, can expect active activities, and can spend the time necessary for child care supporter activities
  2. Those who have common sense and are physically and mentally healthy.
  3. As a general rule, those who live in Totsuka Ward and have sufficient understanding of the local situation and can provide consultation from caregivers.
  4. Those who have a certain level of knowledge and experience regarding child care for infants
  5. Those who are under 65 years old (as of April 1, 2025)

About composition

  • Please fill in the form in about 400 characters using the specified form.

Acceptance Period

Must arrive from Wednesday, November 6, 2024 to Friday, November 15, 2024 (if you bring it, until 5:00 pm on the same day)

Selection method

Document screening and interview (Interview time will be notified after application.)
※The results of the selection will be notified in writing to all candidates regardless of pass/fail.
※We will not be able to answer any inquiries regarding the selection process.

Term of office

From March 31, 2025 to March 31, 2026
※Can be updated depending on work performance. (However, until the end of the 70-year-old year)
※New training will be held multiple times during March.

Work location

District centers and community care plazas in Totsuka Ward
※The work location is specified by Children and Families Support Division Totsuka Ward.

Basic compensation

5,760 yen per activity (planned)
Other fees for training are based on the Yokohama City Child Care Supporter Delegation Guidelines.

Others

  1. After the recruitment is decided, we will take training in advance and start activities in April.
  2. We may ask you if necessary, such as instructor of baby classroom, participation in local liaison meetings.
  3. Job of child care supporter becomes delegation duties from city to individual based on Yokohama-shi child care supporter delegation summary. Please note that this will result in the acceptance of required items and various procedures, including the obligation to comply with business laws and regulations and confidentiality of confidential and personal information obtained in business.
