Health activity promotion staff

As a promoter of local health promotion and a partner in government health promotion measures, we carry out various activities related to health promotion in cooperation with the ward Health and Welfare Center and local groups.
※The Mayor of Yokohama will commission (two-year term) upon recommendation from Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.

• Promoting one's own health and working with others
• Support for health promotion of local residents
• Creating a corporate culture that promotes health promotion throughout the region

The Totsuka Ward Health Activity Promotion Committee has 240 people in 18 districts. (As of July 1, 2023)

At the 2023 Totsuka Ward workshop, students learned about medicinal herbs for the purpose of "leaving basic knowledge of health promotion and practicing proper lifestyle habits", and I was able to gain useful knowledge for health promotion in daily diet and daily life.

On the day of the event, 89 health promotion staff went to Yokohama Pharmaceutical University toured medicinal herb gardens and farms, and received mini-lectures by Professor Iizuka and Prof. Umehara.
Herbal medicine has been used as a pharmaceutical around the world for a long time, and many plants are also used as food.
Some herbs have ingredients that rejuvenate the body as an efficacy, while others have poison.
This time, by seeing and touching the real thing in the medicinal herb garden where they are actually planted, what I want to put in my body to stay healthier and use in my life to be healthier in the future I understand
Many participants commented, "It was a great opportunity to learn a lot about things that I didn't know that seasonings such as familiar ingredients and spices are actually medicinal herbs." Was sent.

Gymnastics was created with the cooperation of the Tozuka Sports Center so that you can easily do gymnastics.
This is an effective exercise for improving scallops and standing posture.
It can also prevent back pain and knee pain, so be sure to pose one pose without overdoing it when doing housework or watching TV.

In recent years, the time to see smartphones and personal computers has increased, and more people feel stiff neck and stiff shoulders.
Therefore, I created an easy-to-use gymnastics that can be easily performed between housework and work.
It is a gymnastics that can be done in 1 minute, so please go within a reasonable range in the gap time.
