Seya Ward Office, Yokohama International Horticultural Exposition Seya Ward Promotion Council

Here are some countdown projects organized or organized by this council.
・[1100 days before the event] Flower workshop made with fresh flowers
・[1234 days before the event] Seyamaru Object presentation ceremony
・[1300 days before the event] SEYA café
・[4 years before the event] Planting Seya Ward flower "Hydrangea"

In commemoration of 1100 days before "GREEN x EXPO 2027", a workshop was held to make swag which means "wall decoration" in German. A total of 31 groups, from one person to those with children, participated and touched the flowers through making swag making.
　In addition, a photo spot was set up outside the venue and took pictures of the memories of the participants.

On November 1, 2023, the 1234 days before the GREEN x EXPO 2027 event, we performed "Seyamaru Object" created by the Council and the Seya Ward Office, and held a piano recital with pianist Naoki Hayashi. Visitors were given special package design seeds and egg shells to visitors.

(1)Object presentation ceremony
As part of our efforts to foster momentum for GREEN × EXPO 2027, we held a ceremony for the Seyamaru Object, jointly created by the Yokohama International Horticultural Exposition Seya Ward Promotion Council and the Seya Ward Office.

Naoki Hayashi, a pianist from Seya Ward, was invited to give a piano recital.

The council cooperated with the SEYA Café, an event held on August 27, 2023, 1300 days before the GREEN x EXPO 2027, where visitors can buy and eat agricultural products from Seya Ward.

・Three kitchen cars using agricultural and livestock products from Seya Ward (openings: kebab, yakisoba, churos, shaved ice cream, soft drinks, etc.)
・Direct sales of vegetables from Seya Ward (solded by light trucks for mobile sales)
・Vegetable seed distribution 1,000 bags ≪ Type: Radish≫

To commemorate the four years before the event, children from Seya Ward and high school students cooperated to plant flower hydrangea in front of the ward government building (Futatsu Bridge Park).
Seya Nishi High School, which will be completed in 2022, was the last activity, but we have promised a reunion in 2027, looking forward to each growth.
In addition, a panel was created to promote GREEN x EXPO 2027 with the cooperation of the children.
