What is Sport GOMI (Sports GOMI)?
This is a new sport originating in Japan that adds the essence of sports to the garbage collection.
The Social Sports Initiative started its activities in 2008.
It has been held more than 1,200 times nationwide.
In 2021, we received the Science and Technology Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award.
Basic Rules for Sport GOMI Tournament
A team of up to five will work together to pick up garbage within the specified area within the time limit and compete for its quality and quantity at points.

What is the "Spo GOMI Remote Tournament"?
In regular competitions, the opening and closing ceremonies are held by all participants, using the web conference tool "Zoom" web conferences.
You can participate with confidence without worrying about crowds.
In addition, we use the location information sharing app "Cocoil" to understand the current location of the participating teams.
It can be used for the safety management of the tournament and the team's strategy.

| 10:30-11:00 | After gathering at the designated place and receiving competition goods (bibs, tongs, etc.), the opening ceremony was held at Zoom on the spot. |

| 11:00-12:00 | Competition (garbage picking) at any location in Seya Ward while sharing the location information of each team with "Cocoil". |
| 12:00 - 14:00 | Bring the collected garbage to a designated place and participate in environmental quizzes. After receiving the participation prize, disbanded. |
| From 14:00 to 14:30 | Closing ceremony at "Zoom" wherever you like. |
