Last Updated June 20, 2024
About infant health checkups (4-month-old, 1-year-old and 6-month-old, 3-year-old) conducted at the Seya Ward Office
- Infant health checkups are an opportunity to check the growth of your child at the milestone of growth and development, support child care, and it is important to have them receive at a better time.
- Notifications will be sent individually on the day of the medical examination for infants. If you can not receive it on the designated date, please consult after the designated date. In addition, notices of medical examination may be sent again to those who have not been examined.
- There are volunteers of "childcare cooperators" at the venue. If you are pregnant and need help, or if you need help, please feel free to contact us as we can help you when you need it.
Please
- On the day, please fill in the required items on the Maternal and Child Health Handbook and the mailed questionnaire and bring it with you.
- Please refrain from eating and drinking. (You can drink tea and water.)
- Please refrain from taking pictures or videos.
- Weight measurement is performed with non-peeed diapers or pants, so please bring a replacement if it is likely to get wet.
- Be sure to take your used diapers home to prevent infectious diseases.
- When measuring height and head circumference (*), you may be asked to remove the hair dumpling, knitting, and hair stoppage so that you can measure accurately. ※The head circumference of a 3-year-old child is not subject to measurement.
- Since the medical examination site is narrow and dangerous, please put the stroller in the stroller storage area installed at the entrance of the medical examination site. (If you would like to use a stroller due to circumstances, please speak to the staff.) ※If you are traveling with a small child, it is convenient to have a baby strap.
- It takes about 2 hours from the reception to the end of the medical examination. Please come with plenty of time.
- Families other than parents (grandparents, siblings, etc.) can wait on the medical examination floor (waiting space), but each medical examination room has limited seats, so one child subject to medical examination In principle, please enter the room with one guardian.
- If your child (including the guardian of the accompanying person) is not feeling well, such as fever, acute rash, diarrhea, vomiting symptoms, etc., please come on the next and subsequent medical examination days without overdoing it. Many children will be consulted on the day, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation in preventing infection.
