About the new influenza

H1N1 influenza virus is a change in animals, especially birds, infect humans and has changed so that it can be transmitted efficiently from person to person. The disease caused by this virus is the new influenza. After the outbreak, it is feared that it will spread to the world in a short period of time and cause serious illness.
Measures against pandemic influenza are an extension of normal influenza measures.
People with flu and have symptoms should rest at home, but if you have to go out, it is important to cover your mouth with a tissue or wear a mask when coughing or sneezing. It is necessary to wash hands with coughing, sneezing, and nose blowing hands immediately.
Based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's New Influenza Countermeasures Action Plan, Yokohama City has established the Yokohama City New Influenza Countermeasures Conference to formulate the Yokohama City New Influenza Countermeasures Action Plan, and provide accurate information to citizens.
