In the morning when you wake up with the voice of wild birds, you encounter a variety of creatures. Introducing facilities such as forests and parks where you can enjoy the rich nature and the charm of the forest.
The Sakae Ward Forest is also introduced in the guide map issued by the Green Environment Bureau. Please take a look at it.

Yokohama Nature Observation Forest (Yokohama Nature Observation Center)
Yokohama Nature Observation Center
Whether you're going forward or going forward. The forest as far as the eye can see. I feel like I'm completely hiding in the forest. There are grasslands and ponds, so you can feel the life of living things. It might be a good idea to explore the vast forest of 44 hectares over a day.
In addition, at the Yokohama Nature Observation Center in the forest, rangers belonging to the Japan Wild Bird Society are stationed, holding many events to explain creatures and learn about nature. . There is an exhibition of the structure of the forest, seasonal creatures, a book corner, and a training room.

Citizens' facilities for training and lodging
It is a facility where you can train and stay in the rich nature adjacent to the Yokohama Nature Observation Forest and Kanazawa Zoo.
You can spend a rich time while interacting with nature throughout the four seasons.

Iijima Citizen's Forest
Idyllic scenery and gentle coppice forest
The first designated citizen forest located in the northwestern part of Sakae Ward. A quiet, warm and cute forest.
There are gentle hills, and there are ridge roads that go while watching the countryside of the valley, and a variety of roads that go up and down the hillside.
In addition to the main plaza centered on "Shirahata no Mori", the cherry blossoms open in the south and the distant scenery and rural scenery are comfortable.
The square is shiny and sunny, so I just want to turn.
The whole forest seems to be smiling. By all means, relax and walk!

Kamigo Citizen's Forest
From the top, beautiful Mount Fuji
A small forest in the middle of a residential area. The shape of a warm bowl upside down. There is also a plaza at the top, and there is a road connecting the ridges and a road around the hachi.
You can enjoy the scent of plums in spring.

Segami Citizen's Forest
Quiet Segami Pond and Deep Forest
A fresh forest where the smell of wood spreads. At the bottom of the valley, the deep deep valley, clear water and rich forests spread out. All the side water flows into the pond, so it has a lot of moisture and the air is always refreshing. It is a deep mountain perfect for forest bathing. In addition to ferns and moss, there are plenty of dandelions, hydrangeas, and autumn leaves, so you can enjoy it thoroughly throughout the four seasons. In addition, there is a spot selected as one of the 100 Views of Fujimi in Kanto, where you can see Mount Fuji on a sunny day. Ara Izawa Citizen's Forest
Beautiful Tando rice field
It is characterized by a steep cliff that looks like a forest. It is also one of the headwaters of the Itachi River, so there is always clean water. A playground for children, with all the ponds restored to the site of the reservoir and the frog ponds created after the rice fields. From the observatory of Shiroyama, you can see Mt. Enkai and Minato Mirai 21, and on a clear day you can see Mount Fuji.

Kajigaya Citizen's Forest
A bench where you can take a break after a stroll
This is the fifth citizen forest in Sakae Ward, which opened in April 2014.
The forest is quiet so quiet that you can't imagine the Kamakura Highway passing nearby.
The walking course occasionally blows through the cool breeze, and there are benches for rest here and there, so it's a good idea to take a daily walk in the forest.

Hongo Fujiyama Park
An old private house of tangible cultural property designated by the city
A park surrounded by greenery, such as bamboo forests, kunugi forests, and cedar forests. A calm atmosphere with an old private house (former Koiwai residence), a building from the late Edo period, which has become a designated cultural property of Yokohama City. The spot with a panoramic view of Mount Fuji is also popular. In the old private house zone, there are plenty of events such as Hina Matsuri, Cherry Blossom Viewing, Dango Festival, Moon Viewing Party, and Harvest Festival according to the season. Traditional events have been handed down.
