Agricultural-only district

Areas designated by the city's outline for the purpose of establishing urban agriculture by securing coherent and good farmland and conservation of the urban environment.
The mayor designates mainly the agricultural land area, and promotes regional agriculture comprehensively and systematically by implementing agricultural measures.
The designated requirement is that the improvement of agricultural productivity and the sound development of local agriculture are expected on farmland of 10 ha or more in the agricultural promotion area.In Sakae Ward, the Taya Nagaodai district (35.1ha) is specified.
