In order to maintain a comfortable waterside environment, please cooperate in cleaning rivers and waterside facilities.

There are many rivers flowing in the city, and there are also many familiar waterside facilities such as Ogawa Amenity and Seseragi Green Road. Beautiful rivers and watersides give moisture and peace to our hearts.
The Waterside Protection Association system is a local group (Waterside Protection Association) that conducts voluntary and daily cleaning activities so that the environment of rivers and waterside facilities is well maintained, and citizens can comfortably interact with the waterside and get close to it. ), Yokohama City subsidizes and supports a part of the activity expenses.
In Yokohama City, 98 organizations (as of July 2024) are active.

We will form a group of five or more people who belong to Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, shops, schools, companies, NPOs, etc., and submit a notification of the formation of a protection society to the Road and Highway Bureau River Planning Division.

We will work on rivers maintained and managed by Yokohama City and waterside facilities such as Ogawa Amenity and Seseragi Green Road maintained by Yokohama City.

We carry out cleaning and weeding activities of rivers and waterside facilities. One of the activities is to use waterside facilities to carry out voluntary events.

A subsidy of 18,000 yen to 142,500 yen will be issued to the applied organization according to the activity range and extension.
At the end of the year's activities (end of March), submit an activity report.
