In Yokohama City, it is a place to stay after school for elementary school students.
There are "After School Kids Club" and "After-School Care Program Clubs". We will show you the characteristics of each and how to apply.
[Characteristics of After School Kids Club (Kids)]
●You can move your body in the schoolyard or gymnasium, and spend your homework and work indoors such as empty classrooms.
●Only kids clubs at the school you are attending are available.
●There are three usage categories (places of life are 2 and 3).
①It can be used free of charge as a place for Category 1 (Waku Waku) play until 16:00.
②It can be used until 17:00 for a fee (2000 yen) as a place for custody of Category 2A (sukusuku).
③It can be used for a fee (5,000 yen) until 19:00 as a place for Category 2B (Hoshizora) custody.
[Characteristics of After-School Care Program Clubs (schoolchild)]
●With the cooperation of local people and parents, we spend time playing and doing homework in a homey atmosphere such as a single house.
●There are no restrictions on the school district. I go from various schools.
●The usage time is until 19:00, and the usage fee is 16,000 yen per month on average.
●For lower grades, some clubs have pick-up (for details, go to the club).

If you register for "Waku Waku (Category 1)" at the Kids Club after school, you can play for free until 16:00.
The district center and care plaza also hold various events for elementary school students after school. Check out the programs at the nearby facilities.

General application flow
In the case of after-school kids club
- Briefing session for new first-year students (from January to February)
At the elementary school entrance briefing session, we will explain how to use the kids club and distribute application forms. - Fill out the application form and pay insurance premiums (March)
Attach a certificate of payment of insurance premiums to the application form with required items and submit it to the Kids Club. - Started using Kids Club (April)
New first-year students registered in [Category 2A / B] can use it from April 1st.
In the case of After-School Care Program Clubs
Each club has a different application method and application time, so please contact each club directly.
Some clubs hold entrance briefings for new first-year students in the next year from around the fall before enrollment.
